As Managing Director of Business and Economic Development .Manatee has been involved in advocating and organizing for Equal Opportunity, Equitable Economic Development and Wealth Distribution for Under-served Rural and Urban Communities for over 20 years.

With a strong background in Community Development, Manatee has accumulated

various certifications, training, and memberships in the field. He was

also trained and received a certificate of completion by New Jersey

Redevelopment Authority in the areas of CDBG and HOME Funds

Compliance, Monitoring, and Implementation as well as Project Finance.

He also learned the redevelopment process to ensure that economic

growth ,equity and inclusion in rural and urban community development can be obtained.

Manatee attended Morgan State University with a double major in

Business and Marketing.

JERRY McGAUGHY

EPIC Community Impact Fund/Affordable Housing Impact Fund LLC ( Consultant )

Affordable Housing Impact Fund ,LLC is rallying a $10 million investment to turn the tide for Atlanta and surrounding area's.

Jerry has been involved in advocating for Community Development

Financial Institutions (CDFI) Funds from the beginning. Following passage

of CDFI Fund enabling legislation, he was an early adopter and worked to

spread the good news about the benefits of becoming a CDFI. With over 12

years of community lending and investment experience, and over five years

of community development consulting.

Jerry was the Founder of Atlanta-based Business LINC Community Loan Fund dedicated to providing loans and technical assistance for community development in undeserved areas.

He also worked to both develop and manage the National Business LINC

Coalition in Washington, D.C., a joint initiative of the Clinton

Administration and the National Business Round table. Jerry rounded out

his extensive experience with CDFIs by becoming a CDFI Fund grant

reviewer, evaluating applications using the CDFI Fund’s establishing review

criteria including such factors as community development performance,

business strategy, marketing analysis, management capacity, and financial

health and viability.

Jerry is a committee member of the U.S. Department of Treasury Financial Literacy and Education Commission’s Starting Early for Financial Success Initiative, where he helps prepare children and young people to be financially prepared throughout their lives.

Jerry also has extensive knowledge including US Department HUD programs like

Home and the Community Development Block Grant programs ;the State of Ga. Taxable Financing programs; Low Income Tax Credit program; and the Federal Home Loan Bank. He also has an extensive background in housing capital investment building.

Jerry attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he received

his BA in Finance and Economics.

and real estate management.

organizations and public entities seeking to create healthy, sustainable communities.

He has a broad range of knowledge of State ,County and local community and Special Needs Rural Housing programs.

Kaheed , who is a resident of Albany ,Ga was a licensed Real Estate Agent for Century 21 for Five years, a Home Inspector for 15 years and Real Estate Investor.
